Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed Approach for Electric Grid Resilience Funds (Hearing Postponed)

CEO, along with partner agencies, is pursuing funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) 40101(d) Formula Grant through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) “Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid.” The Formula Grant sets aside approximately $8.6M for the State of Colorado.

The Department of Energy has announced that the deadline for the proposal has been delayed until March 2023. CEO and partner agencies are going to delay the previously scheduled public hearing on September 7th to assess changes to the proposal based on this new timeline. A public hearing to be held this fall will be announced soon and posted on this website.

All those who had registered for the September 7th hearing will be automatically registered for the new hearing date.
