This analysis included quantitative and qualitative analyses, dozens of stakeholder interviews and surveys, and extensive research on the climate workforce landscape in Colorado. Local governments, training providers, industry, and other stakeholders may find this information valuable for planning climate workforce-related training initiatives and identifying opportunities for their region.
With funding from a federal Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant and from the Colorado Department of Transportation, the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) and its partners commissioned Industrial Economics to conduct the analysis and create the report.
Stakeholder Engagement
The study was informed by qualitative and quantitative analysis, including in-depth interviews with representatives from training providers and education institutions, trade associations, employers, nonprofits, and other workforce organizations. Additional workforce training providers gave input via survey.
